The great thing about living in the foothills of the mountains is that you can take last minute advantage of snow conditions. After heavy snowfall the previous day, today we had the best snowshoeing conditions of the winter. We headed up above Puente Palo onto the slopes of Cerrillo Redondo, where we made first tracks all day and never saw another soul. A perfect mountain day in absolute solitude!
