The modern internet is so crap. In November I am going with a few friends hiking for a few days in the Cabo de Gata Natural Park in Almeria. Naturally I want to find the best and most interesting trails. There is, of course, a mountain (joke) of information out there but hardly anything that doesn't involve creating an account, giving away my email address or accepting adverse/ad infected cookie notices. The search is either dominated by Komoot, AllTrails, Wikiloc etc or "influencer" type websites spitting out obvious AI created garbage. It's frustrating.
So it's back to studying a map in front of the fireside, just like the old days. Sometimes the old ways are the best eh?
