I thought this was an interesting blog by Peter Hoffman, who created a mobile-first map of Alpine peaks, huts and bivouacs. Tap anywhere near a summit and get its name, elevation, prominence, a photo and the Wikipedia link. The data for that comes from OpenStreetMap and Wikidata: 33,437 named peaks between Nice and Vienna.
