They are constructing a walkway (akin to Malaga's "El Chorro", Kings Path) along the side of the Tajos Colorao cliffs opposite Lanjarón in the Alpujarra. These cliffs stretch over half a kilometre and are without doubt a superb viewpoint for the town and the Sierra Nevada mountains rising above it. At the end of the walkway will be an optional Via Ferrata for continued progress. Not sure how I feel about this at the moment, but I hope the professionals who installed this have thought very hard about the dangers of loose rocks and falling stones, not to mention the huge earthquake fault line that splits the top of the cliffs!
