El Perro Negro

Grumpy old mountain man living in Spain

Street scenes from the "Pueblos Blancos" of Capileira and Bubión in the Alpujarras a few days ago.

A row of red clay pots filled with withered flowers stands in front of a white house wall. Above are the traditional chimney pots seen in this part of Spain

A narrow street, walls sunlit on the right hand side and in shadow on the left.

A view up a narrow covered rising, street. The street is covered by a roof built traditionally out of locally found building materials

A narrow street with stone wall to the right and a white building at the end of the street
