Wonderful 2 day trip visiting Lavaderos de la Reina. The spring is without doubt the very best time to visit this magical place. After coffee and hot meal we relaxed in the warm sunshine on soft grasses while the sun lowered over the ridges. Not a care in the world. I fell asleep at night to the sound of the streams and gushing waterfalls.
Glorious sun, snow and blue sky conditions on the morning of the second day, but I had a problem with my camera/sd card images so unfortunately can't share them with you. We escaped the upper valley via a snow ramp and began the long descent back to the cars. One of the finest overnight camps I have ever had in the Sierra Nevada!
