@mountainmindset very much my story too. I'm trying to get rid of the major players in the Enshittification race from my life. Microsoft gone for some time. Google and FB nearly out. Unfortunately, out here in the sticks we have come to rely on Amazon for stuff. Need to resolve that. I also rely heavily on FOSS and support developers as much as I can. Book written in 2019 so I guess would need an update as the tech world is moving so fast.
