@bergmeister they filmed quite a lot of that here in Spain's Sierra Nevada. A couple of our guides were employed for months ensuring that the actors didn't slip off the mountain. It's an intriguing tale and overall I really enjoyed this remake. I have the book too, that's worth reading.
