@jds We have to open a side gate of the main channel which is some 100m higher above our land. We have rights to take water every other Friday. After about an hour water starts appearing on our own channel adjacent to our land. Then we open side gates in order to allow water onto the upper, middle and lower sections of our land. We then dig our own channels through the earth to reach the trees. The main water channel usually runs dry in June/July depending.
