@TimKStanton I think you are absolutely correct Tim. Long distance hiking with some foliage would be ok but in your mountains, a heavier layer would suit better. I would definitely be concerned in certain types of terrain. Sure, it will be fine for my 150km hike through the Italian Dolomites in July, provided I don't start catching the fabrics on sharp bits of limestone rock! 😀
