@recollir yes, that's a famous race round here. Fantastic effort from your wife! I try to keep clear of Veleta and the ski area but do admit that access to the Hoya de la Mora in winter really helps. In summer I also use the ski lifts or National Park bus to access 3000 metres very quickly. It's been a long time since I skied on piste as I dislike crowds. I prefer "esqui travesia" on the south side, especially Cerro de Caballo
