@tapasinthesun In 2015 my business website was HTML based & I also had a Wordpress Blog. I discovered Static Site Generators (Hugo, Jekyll, then Eleventy) which made it very easy to run a large HTML site. I enjoyed SSGs so much I then imported my Wordpress blog. Prime benefit is speed which has since become a Google ranking. I also enjoyed having my own destiny in my own hands. Used @eleventy for a few years now. Learning curve easier for amateurs and plenty of online help and plugins.
